Children of men

Krinij, the only son of Arjun and Krupa, is a blend of sheer innocence and purity like any other eight year old; poetically, a pool that reflects the entire no defect sky emphatically defines his guiltless character.
In this world, parents have been enthroned an elite position by god calling them “the creators”. It is thus the responsibility of the two to provide a loving and amicable atmosphere for the child to foster.
Unfortunately, Krinij wakes up everyday amidst altercations that have long formed a routine between his parents. The boy stares despondently at his dad brutally whipping his mother. Never the young mind could conceive the reason behind his father’s wildly actions. He often was beaten up bloodily for things that can be called utterly petty. Cigarette burns seen all over his bland skin, constantly making him a victim of the beast in human form.
One day, he goes to bed with all the pains much beyond the endurance levels of the poor child with his mother sitting by his side applying an ointment, sobbing heavily at the same time. Krinij innocently asks “Why mama, dad is so bad? Why is that he always beats us up?” Mother gives nearly an abortive attempt to prevent her tears from tumbling down, replies to her beloved child staring at his blue eyes running her hands through his hair, “Daddy is not a bad person my dear, he is mentally ill, it will take some time before he is back to normal. Once he is completely cured, he will play with you, buy you chocolates and shall give you everything that you may ask for” saying so, she embraces him taking his head and pressing it against her bosom. The kid then slowly raises his head, just enough to make eye contact with his mother and asks “so mummy, dad is never going to hurt us again after he is well. Is he?” Now, mother unable to understand why she had to find herself in such an awful predicament, weeps even harder hugging her child tightly, kissing him all over and finally, rests her chin over his head with her arms curled around him.
Knirij heard nothing from her mother thereof. It was not long before he realized she was no more and he is left in this material world with a challenge of fighting the battle of life all ALONE.

Saleem Movie Review [Telugu]

I have dedicated one day of my Xmas vacation just for Saleem in searching for the movie link, watching it and writing the review. I would like to thank YVS Chowdary for giving me such an opportunity which I could write my longest review. I wish only next movie of YVS could break this record. Here you go !

The movie starts with a Title Logo "Saleem" with namaz background music.
Immediately, hero makes a mass intro as if he is falling from the sky while Ilena keep counging 1, 2, 3..
MASS Introduction !!

Ilena who returns from foreign country to India utters a dialogue after getting into the car, "Appudapudu life lo thrill unte ne interesting ga untundhi".
Guess what the THRILL is? The immediate car accident? NO !
The unexpected Hero MASS introduction.. Vishnu sitting on a rock with a Rocking pose redefines the word, "BALUPU" literally by trying to imitate his father's dialogue delivery, but fails miserably.

By spreading the dust into the surroudings (dhummu lepi), hero finishes his intro fight and proposes Ilena.

Finally hero manages to enter heroin's house by impressing their parents. Mass hero gets a class impression.

After few hilarious comedies inside their house mixed with a bit of Romance; Vishnu babu takes Ilena to the villain to "prove" his Manliness.
Finally Ileana accepts his Manliness and takes off the "Puli Goru" from the villain and gives it to Vishnu saying, "Magaadivi, ippudu idhi nee meda lo undaali".
Wow !! What a MAN !

But Vishnu is doing all this not only to prove his Manliness, but he also has some other story behind his acts.

YVS Chowdary has used a different concept screenplay in the movie Saleem. On the other side, madhya lo phaaren nunchi kontha mandhi vasthaaru, kaani vallu evaru anedhi manaki cheppakunda suspense maintain chesaadu.

Everything goes according to what Vishnu has planned. Heroin's father decides to give his daughter to to "assffalu fsifsalaina mogaadu" (asalu sisalaina mogaadu).
Then appudu gudi lo oka fight.. By chasing the speed of the bullet in order to save heroin's father, Vishnu again proves that he is a perfect MAN !
In the very next scene, Vishnu bike ni MI:2 style lo thippi, bullets vasthunte tyre addu petti aapesthaadu. May be phaaren peepul veelle emo anna oka chinna sandheham kooda raadhu audience ki.

But unfortunately, Vishnu babu's copied stunts and inspired background music give him nothing. Because Ileana betrays him for by saying "Po Po" after saving her. The love failure expressions can be seen in Vishnu's eyes !

All the struggles which Vishnu has faced to prove his Manliness had gone in vain. The scene before interval is so heart touching. After watching the first half of the movie, its crystal clear that no one else apart from Vishnu babu can do this movie. Vishnu chetha train ekkinchi bullet tho kaalipisthundhi Ilena. Vishnu fell in the water.

INTERVAL !!

The interval bang reminds me of Magadheera's interval (hero falling in water). But guess what happens next? Vishnu babu doesn't need Sri Hari to help him out.
He could swim with and ease and makes his presence in the Hospital inspite of severe injuries. That shows how much dedicated is Munna (Vishnu) towards his goal.

Ileana who is accustomed to the European culture right from her childhood starts hating Indian clultre and emotions at her home.
Hence she elopes with her boy friend and returns back to Europe. Perhaps YVS has expected the audience to assume this shit as the twist.

After knowing this, Munna travels Europe and gives an intro with another mass fight at Europe.
Ileana Boy friend's bro is none other than OZO (Mohan Babu) who is an Underworld Don !

Mohan babu describes Vishnu as, "Andharu revolver maata vinte, revolver veedi maata vintundhi". Vishnu: Gun ni chusthe, laff (love) lo padipothaanu. Ee dialogue vinnaka audience lo Vishnu evaru anna sangathi thelusukovataniki vechi chusthu untaaru.

The scene where Vishnu babu overcomes the Gravity force from a sky scrapper and catches the RING of Ileana which was thrown from the top of the Building.
The graphics in this scene adds beauty to the scene by holding the Pulse of the audience. This has to be experienced while watching the movie.

Mohan Babu (Ozo) starts learning English from an English teacher. But was he really learning English? No. Because he was quite busy in teaching her some other things.
Thanks to Mohan Babu's schools group. He also sings a duet with his teacher.
Mohan Babu eppati nuncho ee age lo kooda dance cheyyalani korika ga undhemo. Andhuke ee movie ni produce chesi koduku future tho bongaram aata aadukunnadu.

After listening to the Love philophies by Saleem, Ileana leaves her boyfriend and proposes Fsaleem. But Saleem now rejects her love. This is the ultimate twist which no one could ever dream to expect.

Mohan babu hero ni inka kasta pettakoodadhu anukuni manchi vaadi laaga maaripothadu after a dhummu lepe climax fight in India.
Finally, teacher confesses her love for Mr. Mohan babu and there ends the movie.

The scene where teacher proposes Mohan Babu can be easily noted as one of the best Romantic scenes on the History of Telugu Cinema.

Kudos to the Director and Producer for such a daring attempt.
Special thanks to Mohan babu for making such a "Never before and Never after" kind of cinema.

Vishnu also has done equal justification to his role "Saleem".

I actually wanted to give a brief review, but I couldn't stop praising the movie which has re defined the stamina of Telugu Films.

No Verdict, No Rating.

YVS - You are the real film maker. Take a BOW ! Continue the same form and let the audience kick you out of the industry very soon.

Vishnu - You are really a Man ! You need not "try" to prove it.
Please do take the dedication from your father, but do not take suggestions from him.

Mohanbabu - Do experiment but do not experiment with your kids.

Ileana - As usual. You have once again proved that you can't improve any more in this industry and cleared doubts to those who are having hopes on you. Anyways, as long as you receive offers like Saleem, you need not improve in your skills which you cannot.

S U B H A M !

Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya Movie Review

I am the one who usually gets completely bored while watching typical Love stories. Even though I had been waiting for this movie especially for Gowtham's chemistry which was impressive in Kaaka kaaka. and for ARR who is known for his romantic BGMs in love stories like Jeans, Duet, Alaipayuthey (Sakhi) and Munbe va BGM from Sillunu oru kadhal (Nuvvu nenu prema).

"Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya - A different Love story - Yet again"

The caption looks more apt for the movie (even more than the film's title)

Yes, its another love story (Yet Again) which we have been watching since the time of our primary schooling where hero and heroin share the same street/house, "Love at first sight" ani cheppi continue ayipovatam, intlo parents oppukokapovatam and the same tape continues.

Well is this a Different love story (considering the caption of this movie)? YES, it is. The concept of heroin being elder to Hero was a news to me. And last 45 minutes was extremely taken well !!

As I have mentioned, there is absolutely nothing new in the first half. Vaaranam Aayiram lo "Daddy daddy daddy" puranam aithe indhulo "Jessie Jessie Jessie" puranam, arigipoina cassette madhiri. But the emotions did work out in few scenes. Interestingly, I could guess each and every single scene in the movie except for the climax.

Negatives:

1. I got totally pissed off with Simbhu's mannerisms (infact its the character here) mixed with hell lot of "Immaturity" and Adolescence before Hosona song (the very next scene after he sees Trisha).
It just reminded me of Varanam Aayiram "train scene" where Surya sees Sameera for the first time. Aa thala badhukovatam, banging his head, tapping his chest (heart), holding his fingers, gate ni pattukuni pull ups cheyyatam, edho aapukoleni emotions aapukuntunnatu jeevincheyatam.. and finally blaming the girl saying, "YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE". What the CRAP ? ! ?

2. As I had pointed out, too much of "Jessie Bhaagawatham" and "I LOVE U" Manthra even in the scenes which doesn't require. If you love someone truly, then show it in deeds/caring. But chanting and singing "I love U" would fetch you nothing !!

3. Trisha's acting, she couldn't portray emotions even in the sad scenes. Sarigga Glycerine kooda veskovatam raaledhu. In many scenes, oke kantlonchi kaneeru vasthu untundhi. May be thats possible with "True Love"

4. Too much of show off with English words. "Classy, well read, beautiful" - intha varaku baga ne undhi. Next line lo "And S**y too" - What the hell? Possibly the worst ever compliment a girl could ever receive IMO. Inko aanimuthyam, "You are HOT". Is he playing the role of a Flirt or a Lover?

5. Again unncessary Romance in most of the scenes. Chance dhorikithe velli meedha padipothunnadu. It was limited and good in Varanam Ayiram, but here its irritating.

6. The chemistry which worked out well in Kaaka Kaaka is completely missing here.

7. Mana regional language lo boothulu matladithe "Mass" antaaru, "Indecent" antaaru and "Uncivilized" antaru. Adhe English lo boothulu matladithe? Is that called "CLASSY" and "WELL READ"? :P

---

Anyways, one a special note - ARR's BGM and Songs are very good. I could see few reviews mentioning that "ARR IS BACK". But the fact is our Master has never left us

Few Questions to Gowtham Menon:

1. Why is that you are so pasionate about Hindu - Christian Love chemistry?

2. Whats the actual reason for making 2 different climax for this movie? It has happened with Kaaka Kaaka (+ve and -ve climax) and Gharshana (+ve climax). And now with VTV (-ve and +ve climax) and YMC (with a +ve one).

3. I could see many similarities between your way of thinking with that of Jessie's. She is not sure of her life partner and keeps changing her decisions all the time. And you are not sure of your climax and proved it by showing the audience a climax per day. Any other climaxes in store Sir? :P

4. Why COP/Military/Boxing elements are always fit into the script for the heck of it?

5. You have a dialogue in the movie saying, "True love ante eppuduu mana tho paate undipoyedhi". And the fishy thing is you have given us few dialogues like "You are HOT". I guess the logic is somewhere missing because the so called "HOT" element never stays with us Gowtham sir.

6. No more consistent English dialogues sir. We agree you are one among the very few directors who are educated. Ala ani cheppi prathi movie lo English kummesthe ela?

90% & 10%

10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?

We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. You determine the other 90%. How? By your reaction.

You cannot control a red light, but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react. Let's use an example.

You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of milk onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened. What happens next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your wife and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.

You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. After a 15-minute delay you arrive at school. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your wife and daughter.

Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the cup of hot milk cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did you cause it?

The answer is “C".

You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, getting stressed out etc.

The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. Next time you react to any situation, remember the 90-10 principle

Blame Contd....

When people fail, they often blame someone else for their failure. People blame others when they do poorly at work. Blame is also used to justify personal problems.

When you blame someone or something else, you actually make yourself weak and ineffective. You make yourself "effect" instead of being the "cause" of the situation. You give power to the person or thing you blame.

"Blaming something else makes that something else cause; and as that cause takes on power, the individual in the same act loses control and becomes effect."

For example, you lost a business contract and you blame your assistant. You are making your assistant more powerful than you. You might say, "My assistant messed up the appointment, "which is just another way of saying, "My assistant determines if I succeed or fail in keeping an appointment."

If you take responsibility, you would say, "I need to train my assistant so he doesn't make mistakes".

As another example, you might blame someone’s behavior for your stress and anxiety. This makes that person behavior responsible for your feelings. If you say, "That person ruined my mood," you are actually saying, "That person is so powerful that he can control my emotions."

If you wish to succeed in life, you have to end the blame game and accept responsibility for yourself. You only get ahead when you become "cause" over the situation and not the “effect”.

Behavior...

Have you ever heard yourself, or someone else, say: "Don't mind, he didn't know what he was doing"? If so, you have been exposed to the wisdom of "looking beyond behavior."

While dealing with children, we all know very well the importance of - simple act of forgiveness. If we all based our love on children's behavior, it would often be difficult to love them at all. If love were based purely on behavior, then perhaps none of us would ever have been loved as a teenager!

Wouldn't it be nice if we could try to extend this same loving-kindness toward everyone we meet? Wouldn't we live in a more loving community if, when someone acted in a way that we didn't approve of, we could see their actions in a similar light as our teenager's bad behavior?

This doesn't mean that we walk around and pretend that everything is always wonderful, allow others to "walk all over us," or that we excuse or approve of negative behavior. Instead, it simply means having the perspective to give others the benefit of the doubt.

Know that when your assistant is moving slowly, he is probably having a bad day, or perhaps all of his days are bad. Looking beyond behavior gives us the perspective to not get upset and disappointed with every bad behavior of others.

It was born..

Above the unreachable skies
Much beyond the godly heavens.
A blend of the brightest star,
the sensual element venice,
the beauty , the charm
and countless others
coalesced to form a glint.
An unprecedented one.

Angels escorting the glisten
to the world of homo sapiens,
was then the nineteenth century,
the spark delicately ushered into the clove.
Nine months later, It was born.
Nature responded with a gold rush.
A knee jerk twist in the tale
to the existing evil
Outburst of an awaiting
Apocalypse.

Reacting to criticism

So often we are immobilized by the slightest criticism. We treat it like an emergency, and defend ourselves as if we were in a battle.

When we react to criticism with a knee-jerk, defensive response, it hurts. We feel attacked, and we have a need to defend or to offer a counter criticism. We fill our minds with angry or hurtful thoughts directed at ourselves or at the person who is being critical. All this reaction takes an enormous amount of mental energy.

An incredibly useful exercise is to agree with criticism directed toward you. I'm not talking about turning into a doormat or ruining your self-esteem by believing all negativity that comes in your direction. There are many times when simply agreeing with criticism defuses the situation, satisfies a person's need to express a point of view, offers you a chance to learn something about yourself by seeing a grain of truth in another position, and, perhaps most important, provides you an opportunity to remain calm.

One of the first times I consciously agreed with criticism directed toward me was many years ago when a friend said to me, "Sometimes you talk too much." I remember feeling momentarily hurt before deciding to agree. I responded by saying, "You're right, I do talk too much sometimes." In agreeing with him, I was able to see that he had a good point. I often do talk too much! What's more, my non-defensive reaction helped him to relax.

Reacting to criticism never makes the criticism go away. In fact, negative reactions to criticism often convince the person doing the criticizing that they are accurate in their assessment of you.

Blame....

Blaming has become extremely common in our culture. On a personal level, it has led us to believe that we are never completely responsible for our own actions, problems, or happiness. When we are in the habit of blaming others, we will blame others for our anger, frustration, depression, stress, and unhappiness.

In terms of personal happiness, you cannot be peaceful while at the same time blaming others. Surely there are times when other people and/or circumstances contribute to our problems, but it is we who must rise to the occasion and take responsibility for our own happiness.

As an experiment, notice what happens when you stop blaming others for anything and everything in your life. This doesn't mean you don't hold people accountable for their actions, but that you hold yourself accountable for your own happiness and for your reactions to other people and the circumstances around you.

Blaming others takes an enormous amount of mental energy. It's a "drag-me-down" mind-set that creates stress and disease. Blaming makes you feel powerless over your own life because your happiness is dependent on the actions and behavior of others, which you can't control.

When you stop blaming others, you will regain your sense of personal power. You will see yourself as a choice maker. You will know that when you are upset, you are playing a key role in the creation of your own feelings. This means that you can also play a key role in creating new, more positive feelings. Life is easier to manage when you stop blaming others.

Lady Love

faith, hope, belief can all take a hike,
because today i finally found what i like,
all the people i ever knew,
never told me what is true,
to all the glowing faires in the world,
she is the lady you always wanted to be,
all the inequalities solved,
I am standing here with my heart dissolved,
lets get baptized in love and all its symbols,
lets walk hand in hand,
towards the tempest of thy hearts,
the uncharacteristic will never get what they want,
all thts scattered in and out,
youve left me without a doubt,
they will realise from time to time,
love is everywhere,
lovers are everywhere,
the truth is in her face,
happiness in her smile,
no regrets and everyone survives

Scientific & BEYOND

Can everything in life be "scientific" ? Would a chemist give his wife a bunsen burner as a wedding gift? If a neurologist found that his wife was upset with him, would he perform a brain scan to find out what was wrong? The point is simple: Neither is life just a bunch of atoms and molecules nor is a sentient human being just an ultra-super computer. There is something higher beyond the reach of science. Isn't this worth giving a thought ???

The Last Entry

I have recently realised how frightening it is to have a life centered around love. The ones you walked hand in hand are the same who let go of you when your drowning.Watchful in their every step and eager to teach them that every boulder they come across has a message on it,now left behind for the destitute. This emotional transgression has insinuated a pain which is bellowed by the searing truth that my son dosent want to see me anymore.Branching out from life itself, human existence no longer seems to be transcendental. All that is left for me are the fading memories of my sunshine(son) and the woe to be.My love for you cannot be expressed in words maybe its like the sunflower and the sun or like the blades of green grass that never bends,i hope you understand that i have always tried.I am going to close my eyes with the strong belief that there comes a turning in everyones life when this occurs the truth can be observed with the purest of hearts and the world is then reborn in rapture. It is my final wish that there should never be a such a sight of old man left to drench in the rain at his hour of need, this is the greatest sin a man can ever commit.

Stop and Listen

A man sat at a Metro Station on a cold January morning in
2007 and started to play the violin. He played six Bach pieces for about
45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated
that thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes passed by and a middle aged man noticed there
was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds
and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar
tip: A woman threw the money in the till and without stopping,
continued to walk.
A few minutes later, a man leaned against the wall to listen
to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.
The one who paid the most attention was a 3-year old boy who stopped, but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pulled hard and the child
continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on.
In the 45 minutes that the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave money continued to walk at
their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.17.
When he finished playing and silence took over, no one
noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of
the greatest classical musicians in the world playing some of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.
The musician did not play popular tunes whose familiarity
alone might have drawn interest. That was not the test. These were masterpieces that have endured for centuries on their brilliance alone, soaring
music befitting the grandeur of cathedrals and concert halls.
This is a true story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in
the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and the priorities of people.
The questions raised - In a common place environment at an inappropriate hour:
Do we perceive beauty?
Do we stop to appreciate it?
Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?
One of the possible conclusions from this experiment could
be: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made...
How many other things are we missing?

Education !

Education can be broadly classified into four, Namely ;
1. Useful Education
2. Useless Education
3. Dangerous Education
4. Nuisance Education

Lord Sree Rama possesed all the qualities ideally a man should be seeking for, his education not only helped himself but also played a massive role in the uplipftment of the society. He destroyed ferocious anti social element Ravana thereby portraying the fact that evil can be surpassed by good.
This type of education can be referred to as USEFUL EDUCATION.

When Arjuna was passing through a forest, he was awestruck by the immense skill of archery that was being displayed by an anonymous person, daresay adroit at disposal was as prolific as Arjuna's, who himself was gifted at archery. Out of sheer curiousity Arjuna confronted that person and asked "Sir, from which university are you ? Are you from NIT ? or BITS ? Oh you are from IIT?." Reply was rather prompt, he said "I am from Drona University". Arjuna was baffled, "Sir, I am from Drona university as well, I am stayinng at the hostel, but have never seen you there, how do i understand this anomaly?" The stranger said "I am a student of Drona's Correspondence Course". You might now conceive, who I am talking about, yes it is indeed Ekalavya.
Unfortunate blend of events made Ekalavya sacrifice his thumb for Dronacaharya as "Guru Dakshina", whatever might be the reasons, the education he arduously acquired came neither to his benifit or to others, this is nothing but USELESS EDUCATION.

Caste system was profoundly prevailing at the time with which this event is associated . A young and dynamic person blessed with immense talent was looking forward to an admission into a reputed university which was tenable considering his capabilities. Caste constraints lamentfully restricted his admission which left the lad only with a distress. While he was walking out of the university premises, he was approached by a clerk enquiring reason for the grief, after having learnt what the youngster said, he demanded certain amount which we now understand by the term "bribe" and suggested him to go to the village panchayat requesting them for a fake caste certificate at some definite price. The kid dutifully follwed everything of it and finally earned himself a seat in his dream university.
Two years have passed and as expected the boy turned out to be a topper in the university, suddenly things have taken an unexpected turn and college administration found out about the illegal methods he had employed to earn himself a seat and withount a second thought was thrown out of the university. The expelled student was struck with distraught and only hatred on the society was prevailing in the young mind, at this time of crisis he was offered a helping hand by an opportunist and now, his only aim is to RETURN THE FAVOR.
Karna became an accomplice of kouravas, he used his knowledge against the "Dharma" for the destruction of the society. Certainly the education he possed is DANGEROUS, better not have educated people at all than have those who go about tearing the society apart.

I do not want to discuss NUISANCE EDUCATION as I deem it unnecessary considering the readers that visit this blog.

What kind of education are you having ?

You & I

On the earth are we,

no respect for the cause
infatuations taking a toll,
responsibilities disgorged.
overwhelming desires,
astrayed from the basics.
ought to ought not to
stand no implication
thence inflicting the nation.
Everybody thinks they are to,
shed the darkness,
being a sun, not at all
only a firefly, afterall
as insignificant as itself,
not the one definitely,
to light the seven seas.
Bookish guy
being ridiculed as a nerd
no appreciation, watsoever
for the dedication putforth
purest form of water
cursed for imparting no color.
whats before birth and whats after death?
train entering tunnel
tunnel is transition
transition is life
in the path of the train
tunnel is a mere transition.
there exists a purpose
behind every cause.
not leave,
a sign of remorse
to the ape,
that framed You and I.

"Excellence" is a drive from Inside

A German once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor
making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby.
Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same
idol?" "No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but
the first one has been damaged at the last stage."
The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage. "Where is the
damage?" he asked.
"There is a scratch on the nose of the idol." said the sculptor, still busy
with his work.
"Where are you going to install the idol?"

The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet
high. "If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch
on the nose?" the gentleman asked.
The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said,
"I will know it."

The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether someone else
appreciates it or not.
"Excellence" is a drive from inside, not outside. Excellence is not for
someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction and efficiency...

The history of "The Vedas"

It may be asked, how were the Vedas established? What were their origins? What is their history? How were they divided and why does it seem that there are different paths to choose from within the Vedas? First of all there are two ways to answer these questions: one is to consider the theories presented by some of the contemporary scholars and
historians in regard to when the Vedas appeared, and the second way is to consider the traditional account as presented in the Vedic literature itself.

Many modern historians held the idea that it was the Aryans who invaded India in the second millennium B.C. that were the founders of the Indian culture and Vedic traditions. They say that the Aryans came from somewhere near the southern part of Russia bringing their Vedic rituals and customs with them.

This theory, however, does not hold as much weight as it used to. For example, the culture of the Indus valley, where the Aryans are said to have invaded, flourished between 3500 and 2500 B.C. The two main cities were Harappa and Mohenjo-daro. Many finds have come from the archaeological excavations from Harappa which give evidence to suggest that many aspects of later Hinduism were already a part of the early Indus valley culture. Such things have been found as images of yogis sitting in meditation, as well asmany figures of a god similar to Lord Shiva. Evidence has also been found to suggest that temple worship played a major role in daily life, which is what the Veda has prescribed as the process for attaining the greatest amount of spiritual advancement for people of that time.

Keeping in mind that the Indus valley enveloped a vast area and the cultural traits of that society continued to serve for a long time, then how could the pre-Aryan language of the Indus valley people, which is not known today, die out without leaving any trace of its existence? Maybe there actually wasn't any pre-Aryan language. And if not, if this is where the Aryan invaders were supposed to have appeared when they brought their Vedic culture with them, maybe there really wasn't any Aryan invasion, not at least the way some scholars seem to think.

Furthermore, most scholars agree that the earliest Vedic hymns seem to belong to a pre-1500 B.C. date, which means it was not necessarily invaders to had brought Vedic culture with them, since at least the oldest Vedic books, if not most of them, were already in existence by the time any invaders arrived.
Let's consider another point using nothing more than our common sense. It is generally accepted that Lord Buddha appeared about 2,500 years ago, and we know that Lord Buddha preached against the Vedas. So the Vedas had to have been existing at that time, otherwise how could he preach against them?

In fact the reason why he no longer accepted the Vedas was because many of the leading Vedic followers were no longer truly following them, but were abusing them. And any student of history knows that abuse of something takes place after there is a flourishing. So if the deterioration had reached such an extreme 2,500 years ago that people embraced Buddha's teachings, then clearly such gradual degeneration had been going on for many hundreds of years. Since the Vedas were a highly developed form of philosophy, it would indicate that they must have been in existence and quite widespread several thousand years before that. Therefore we can easily understand how old the Vedas must be.

Considering the above mentioned points, it is safe to say at this time that the migration and the homes of the Vedic people, or where and when the Vedas originally appeared, can not be proved archaeologically. Furthermore, let us not forget that it was the British Sanskritists and educators in India, during the 1700 and 1800's, who first portrayed Vedic literature and culture as something barbaric, inferior and recent.

They formed estimated dates on when different Vedic books were written according to such things as the contents of the books and style of writing. But it should be pointed out that even the Vedic tradition describes that once the Vedic knowledge had been divided and the different volumes were written, they were handed down to sages who became expert in the content of that portion of the Vedic knowledge who then continued to hand it down to others who formed sub branches of it. Thus it may look like the Vedas gradually evolved as if they had been influenced and changed by many authors over a long period of time, but actually that is not necessarily the case.

We also have to remember that for many years the Vedic literature was written on palm leaves and would have to be copied when they wrote out or when other copies were wanted. Down through the years as other copies were repeatedly made, certain conventional modifications of the script would have taken place making some scholars think their origin was more recent. But in the case of the Bhagavat Puranas, the Sanskrit text still contained the archaic form of writing, verifying its antiquity. Nonetheless, the English scholars said the author of the Purana must have purposely used the archaic script to make people think it was older than it was. Why the English proposed this sort of theory in an attempt to disqualify its ancient origins simply shows how biased they were against the Vedic literature.

The cultural prejudice was the result of deliberate undermining with the disguised intention of asserting the superiority of their own Christian-based values and outlook, as well as the perpetuation of colonial rule. This intention actually played a prominent role in the reason why they wanted the Sanskrit texts interpreted into English and to have their Christian scripture interpreted into Sanskrit. And many of the notable professors at the time had the audacity to consider themselves to be better authorities on their questionable interpretations of the Vedas than the Indian scholars.

In any case, the attempts to belittle the Vedic literature made only a minor impact. In fact by interpreting such texts, many of the notable writers and poets in the West, as mentioned in the previous chapter (chapter two of "The secret Teachings of the Vedas), were allowed to see what lofty views of the world the Vedic literature held and were indeed very impressed and influenced by them.

So where did the Vedas come from? Though modern historians may offer their many changing theories about how the Vedas were compiled and where they originated, we can see that this is their attempt to find an oversimplified key to understanding Vedic thought, or to even discredit the value of the Vedas. But they must admit that they are still unsure of their theories and lack detailed evidence for many of their opinions. In fact most historians today feel that any accurately recorded history only goes back to around 600 B.C.., and prior to this period all events and stories related in the
scriptures are simply imaginary myths and legends. This reflects and extremely narrow-minded way of looking at things. Many Vedic authorities and self-realised sages in the past have accepted the stories, as found in the Mahabharata and Puranas, to be factual, and have also attained lofty states of consciousness by following the Vedic instructions for spiritual perfection. Therefore, the best way to understand the history of how the Vedas were formed is to simply let the Vedic literature speak for itself."(Stephen Knapp. 1986. The Secret Teachings of the Vedas. YSR : An Achiever

The death of a charismatic leader in the form of YSR has struck the entire nation agahst. He holds the record of not losing an election which emphatically delineates the administration of the incessant achiever.
YSR was instrumuental in bringing congress to the realm of power for the consecutive term surpassing TDP led four party grand alliance and actor-turned politician's grandly launched Prajarajyam".
It is the premature demise of this winner that lamentfully could initiate perilous voyage of the state. Owing to the political environment prevailing, it is a high probable event that the current financial minister may step up as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for the rest of the congress tenure.
In the event of above stated possibility turning out true, it will be interesting to see whether any portfolio be held for the finance departent.
YSR was dictator in a positive sense, considering the fact congress dealt with most of the issues as a team, dictatorship to a great extent was necessary. Though there were conflicting opinions, YSR's audacity always took precedence that ultimately resulted in acquiescence.
Now the question at disposal is : Will congress raise to the occassion and continue working as a team? More appropriately, Is there a leader who can continue to make congress work as a team?
Answers awaited, hopefully not long until its too late.
YSR. May your soul rest in peace.

My heart filled with despair

My heart filled with despair
In the darkness that doesn’t end.

I am a one lost soul

Walking on the path that doesn’t bend.

As far as I can see

There is nothing but remorse.
As far as I can hear

I can hear only the cries that become worse.

I smell the rot of souls,

Plagued by greed and lust.
I sense the demon within

Without any end for its thirst.

It is the hate I hate most

Despite our efforts it comes back.
Even the wise can’t defeat it

As it is our hate that hates us back.

I have searched everywhere for an answer

But could not find it as there was none.
In the end I searched within myself

And found it as a light as bright as a sun.

The answer that could comfort the despair,
The answer could slay the greed and atone to their sin
The answer could end the war and bring peace
The answer is the love that lies within.

Ferrariests

Not a single day would pass
with melancholy surpassed
those poor souls oppressed
ruptures oh my god long suppressed.

Day and night along the line
lies the ferocious blight wine,
black witched dark spline
aimed at knocking human spine.

Deep into the creepy night
rummaging their senses upright
ruthlessness and madness on flight
brainwashed and coerced up for a fight.

Not one certainly out of thin air
shall make them realize their original self,
only the super being of course
can nourish their souls
and steer their path to eternal peace.
